Nikon Announces Nikkor Z 40mm f2, Black Z fc

Nikon has announced both a black version of it Z fc and the Nikkor Z 40mm f2, a new special edition lens whose design takes inspiration from the era of manual Nikkor lenses down to the same 52mm filter size.

NIKKOR Z 40MM
The fast, compact prime lens is engineered to pair with any Nikon Z series camera. It'ss small enough for APS-C mirrorless cameras like the Z 50, Z fc or Z 30 as well as a light and compact walk-around lens for Z 5, Z 6II and Z 7II.
"This lens hits every sweet spot," said Jay Vannatter, Nikon executive vice president. "It's designed with a cool vintage look, while being fast, sharp, affordable and super compact."

Nikon also announced a new version of the Nikon Z fc in an all-black edition. The compact and lightweight mirrorless camera offers the benefits of modern technology combined with analog dials.
It features a 20.9-megapixel APS-C sensor, full time Eye-Detection autofocus, 4K 30p video capture and a vari-angle vlogger-style LCD screen to creatively compose.
