In this recurring column, we highlight a few items we've run across that don't merit a full story of their own but are interesting enough to bring to your attention. This time we look at night shooting, an estimate, travel bags sale, iPhone camera sensors and non-profit photography.

  • In Life After Dark, Jason Little provides a few tips for shooting at night. "If you're up for a fun, exciting challenge, go out and photograph life after dark," he writes. "Not many street photographers do that!"
  • Rob Haggart prices International Hospitality Stills and Video at $59,100. It was the first of three shoots in which two actors enjoy the amenities of a particular hotel.
  • Think Tank Photo's Holiday Travel Sale scores 20 percent off Retrospective travel bags and 25 percent off Freeway duffels through Jan. 3, 2023.
  • Jon Porter reports that Tim Cook revealed iPhones Use Sony Camera Sensors during his supplier tour in Japan. We've been partnering with Sony for over a decade to create the world's leading camera sensors for iPhone," Cook said.
  • Andrew Molitor promises some juicy tidbits about The Non-Profit Industrial Complex shortly. The source is Dr. Dennis Low, an animal photographer from London, who is "mildly obsessed with the sheer swampiness of British Photography as a bastion of know-nothing blow-hards, liars, cheats and idiots."

More to come! Meanwhile, here's a look back. And please support our efforts...
