OM Digital Solutions open a new manufacturing technology center in Tokyo
BETHLEHEM, Pa. -- OM Digital Solutions Corp. has announced the opening of a new Technology Center close to its current research and development base in Tokyo. Located in Hachioji City, the OM Digital Solutions Manufacturing Technology Center will provide one-stop verification of the processes involved in planning and developing optical lenses through production.

"This new Manufacturing Technology Center is an example of our long-term commitment and investment in the OM SYSTEM brand," said Representative Director, President and CEO, Shigemi Sugimoto. "It will greatly enhance our ability to bring high quality lenses to market. Our goal is to help our customers capture the best moments in wide ranging scenes and enjoy nature through their photography."
Setsuya Kataoka, executive officer and CTO added, "High quality lens development is traditionally a lengthy process with many steps to ensure the quality our customers expect. The new center will allow us to speed up this process and respond faster to market trends and customer demands."
