In this recurring column, we highlight a few items we've run across that don't merit a full story of their own but are interesting enough to bring to your attention. This time we look at Paris Fashion Week, Haiti, Blood Generation, The Kimberley, the Leica SL3 and an Affinity sale.
- Helen Seamons showcases The Best of Paris Fashion Week while photographer Jonathan Daniel Pryce captures Street Style during the show.
- Civilians Navigate Bodies in Haitian Streets in this selection of images by Associate Press photographers. "It's been a terrifying week for the people of Haiti, where gun battles between gangs and the police have gripped the capital, Port-au-Prince and left bodies laying in the streets amid calls for the prime minister's resignation."
- Suzanne Sease features Blood Generation, collaborative exhibition between contemporary photographer Stuart Miler and artist Taloi Havini. Taloi invited Stuart to create a series of portraits of a tribe of young people known as the Blood Generation, a name given to children born into war.
- In Snap Happy, Julieanne Kost flies over waterways and mangroves in The Kimberley in Australia. "After the flight I share some tips in Adobe Lightroom Classic to help improve our post production workflow," she says.
- Mike Johnston likes the Leica SL3. "The best thing about Leica cameras hasn't gone away," he writes. "They are the only company to which simplicity, ease of use and a sensible operator experience is a high priority."
- Affinity is having a Spring Sale of 30 percent off its photo editing, graphic design and page layout software for desktop and iPad plus 50 percent off all add-ons, including brush packs, illustration kits, overlays and more.
