Hasselblad Masters 2023 Finalists Selected

Hasselblad has selected the finalists for its Masters competition, opening the vote to the public as well as the grand jury.
The competition saw a record-breaking 85,000 submitted images, a 35 percent increase compared to 2021. This year submission categories included Landscape, Architecture, Portrait, Art, Street and a category designated for young talents, Project//21.
The public is now invited to cast their votes for their favorite images in each category. At the same time, the Hasselblad Grand Jury will select their top choices from each category. Alongside the eight Grand Jury members, the Hasselblad Public Jury's final votes are considered as the ninth Grand Jury seat for the selection of the 2023 Hasselblad Masters.
Voters can register for a free My Hasselblad account on the Hasselblad Web site and vote until June 1. The winners from each of the six categories will be announced on June 26.

Voting Is Now Open to the Public to Help Select the Winners of the Competition
Renowned as one of the most prestigious professional photographic awards, the biannual Hasselblad Masters competition now opens voting for the Hasselblad Public Jury and the Hasselblad Grand Jury phase of the 2023 competition.
The competition saw a 35 percent increase compared to 2021, with a record-breaking 85,000 submitted images -- underscoring the competitions growing popularity. This year submission categories included Landscape, Architecture, Portrait, Art, Street and a category designated for young talents, Project//21.
The top entries, narrowed down by the Hasselblad Internal Jury comprised of employees who are experts in the field of photography, resulted in the selection of 60 finalists, with the top 10 photographers chosen in each of the six categories.
The competition now enters the voting phase where the public is invited to join this celebration of photographic excellence by casting their votes for their favorite images in each category. During this time, the Hasselblad Grand Jury, consisting of eight members of the industry's most respected photographers, established editors and industry experts, in addition to previous winners of the Hasselblad Masters competition, will select their top choices from each category. Alongside the eight Grand Jury members, the Hasselblad Public Jury's final votes are considered as the ninth Grand Jury seat for the selection of the 2023 Hasselblad Masters.
The winner of each category will receive their own Hasselblad 100-megapixel mirrorless medium format camera and two XCD Series lenses, as well as an expanded creative fund of EUR 5,000. With their Hasselblad cameras, the winners will take part in a collaborative project with Hasselblad and will have the opportunity to be published in the commemorative Hasselblad Masters book and digitally on all Hasselblad channels.
