As Paris prepares to welcome visitors from around the world to the Olympic Games, France 24 will present a series of cultural programs celebrating the links between arts and sports. France 24's cultural shows, Arts24 with Eve Jackson in English and À l'Affiche! with Louise Dupont in French, will meet artists taking part in this historic moment, including photographers Matthieu Forget and Raymond Depardon.

The broadcast schedule for the week follows:

Monday, July 22 Pierre Martinez, Head of the Cultural Olympiad, will highlight the artistic and cultural events of the Olympic and Paralympic Games in Paris.
Tuesday, July 23 Mathieu Forget, photographer and performer, will talk us through his work that pays tribute to the physicality of athletes.
Wednesday, July 24 Alison Saar, creator of the Olympic sculpture on the Champs Elysées and Laurent Perbos, the contemporary artist who revisited the Vénus de Milo in front of the National Assembly, will share the stories behind their pieces.

Famous French photographer Raymond Depardon and his son, Simon, will present "Instant des jeux (Moment of the Games)," a series of portraits of French athletes echoing the photos taken by Raymond during the Olympic Games between 1964 and 1976.

Thursday, July 25 Rachel Marks, contemporary artist and dancer from the U.S., will unveil her work "Symfolia" at the Cité de la musique in Paris, while Stephane Ashpool, French designer and former basketball player, will discuss the outfits he designed with Le Coq Sportif for the national team.
Friday, July 26 Arts24 and A l'Affiche will be in Marseille, the first French city to have welcomed the Olympic flame. It is also where the sailing competitions will take place.

Alexandre Mazzia, a three-star chef and former professional basketball player, chosen to prepare meals for the athletes at the Paris Olympics, will share his culinary inspirations.

Marina Gomes, a choreographer who carried the flame, will discuss her commitment to the youth in the underprivileged northern districts of Marseille.

A special week on France 24 will run Monday, July 22 through Friday, July 26 at 12:15 p.m.
