In this recurring column, we highlight a few items we've run across that don't merit a full story of their own but are interesting enough to bring to your attention. This time we look at Hurricane Milton, the Walkley Award, Anna Rothkopf, Ken Light and The Joy of Printing.
- Mhari Shaw and Korva Coleman curate photos showing how Hurricane Milton Brings Devastation Across Florida. Tropicana Field's shredded dome is particularly striking.
- War, protests and sports are showcased by Australia's best photographers as the Nikon prize winners and Walkley Award photography finalists are announced.
- Susanne Sease features HER2: The Diagnosed, the Caregiver and Their Son, the personal project of Anna Rothkopf, which "began as my attempt to regain control after being diagnosed with aggressive breast cancer at 37," she says.
- In Ken Light Reveals America's Untold Stories, Nilofer Khan previews the exhibit Ken Light | American Stories: 1969-1995 opening today.
- Kevin Raber has produced The Joy of Printing, a program created for the Royal Photographic Society. Raber has posted the 1:25:56 video of his virtual presentation.
