You don't have to have a concussion with three brain bleeds and double vision to become disoriented in the city. All you have to do is look out the window from a different floor.
This week we've been admiring the view from the sixth floor of the hospital (rather than the seventh). And scratching our head at the same time.
We knew where we were looking. Civic Center. The Western Addition.
But we were puzzled about the landmarks. It took a bit of concentration to find them, even if a few were obvious.
We turned it into a game with an overview followed by a close-up in the slide show. See if you can find these:
- San Francisco Russian Center
- St. Dominic's Catholic Church
- Sherith Israel
- San Francisco City Hall
- Alta Plaza Apartments
- Cathedral of St Mary of the Assumption
You msy notice a few more (like the Transamerica Pyramid and Mount Diablo). But there's no Waldo hiding in any of the images.
