In this recurring column, we highlight a few items we've run across that don't merit a full story of their own but are interesting enough to bring to your attention. This time we look at the week, feeding a family, Dikye Ariani, ambient light and AI in wedding photosd.
- The Associated Press showcases its Week in Pictures: Global curated by AP photo editor Subramoney Iyer in New Delhi.
- Danielle Villasana photographs How 9 Families Cope When They Can't Afford 3 Healthy Meals a Day for the Kids.
- Harvesting is Indonesian photographer Dikye Ariani's best phone shot, captured on a Samsung Galaxy A32. For four hours, "Ariani dressed the women, positioned them and various elements in the warm water, and climbed up and down a ladder with her phone. She took about 100 photographs from different angles," writes Grace Holliday.
- In The Cardboard Paper Towel Roll Test, Mike Johnston's test demonstrates how much pictures are affected by ambient light.
- In Wedding Photos -- AI Edited, a Reddit poster is upset to see webbed hands and too many fingers in the crowd at their wedding.
