In this recurring column, we highlight a few items we've run across that don't merit a full story of their own but are interesting enough to bring to your attention. This time we look at Dodgers parade, Arielle Bobb-Willis, Altaf Qadri and Photo Mechanic.
- Briana Ellis-Gibbs curates images of the World Series Victory Parade in Los Angeles.
- Grace Ebert reviews Arielle Bobb-Willis's Keep the Kid Alive, a slim monograph of 90 images published by Aperture. "Models dressed in bright, color-blocked garments pose in parks or alleyways, their joyful dances and chromatic clothing enriching the nondescript spaces," she writes.
- Altaf Qadri, an award-winning Kashmiri photojournalist based in Dubai, captures The Power of a Mixed Martial Arts Punch in a single frame.
- Photo Mechanic: Now Apple Silicon Native. Both the standard and Plus editions are now a Universal binary application, making them Apple Silicon-native applications. You will have to download the .dmg installer which requires at least Ventura.
