In this recurring column, we highlight a few items we've run across that don't merit a full story of their own but are interesting enough to bring to your attention. This time we look at Pope Francis, Bob's Birds, the Aura Aspen frame, Mac to iPad and Diglloyd.
- The Guardian celebrates the life of Pope Francis in pictures. The Associated Press adds a few more of The Pontiff who died this morning at the age of 88. Reuters curates 50 imags of his Often Turbulent Reign.
- Mike Johnston features Bob's Birds, a mini-portfolio of images by his friend Bob Burnett.
- Nena Farrell reviews the $229 Aura Aspen digital photo frame, which has the same aspect ratio as a phone and can be used in portrait or landscape orientation.
- Can you Transfer Photos Library From Mac to iPad and sell the Mac while relying entirely on the iPad going forward? How do you do photo backups? Can you use an external storage device? This Mac Power Users post discusses the issues.
- Lloyd Chambers explains what Diglloyd is doing. "Several longtime subscribers have written to ask if I am OK, since I have published little here for months." He lists six impediments to his production.
