In a blog post today, Adobe announced updates to its Creative Cloud suite "designed to help you move from idea to final delivery faster than ever." Updates to Lightroom, Photoshop, Illustrator and Adobe Firefly are now available through the Creative Cloud app.

PHOTOSHOP

Among the enhancements to Photoshop, Adobe announced:

  • Dynamic Text. Dynamic Text automatically resizes, reflows and reformats type to fit any bounding box while giving you additional settings and granular control over line and word spacing for pixel‑perfect typography.
  • Improved Select Subject and Remove Background with Cloud Processing. Cloud‑powered processing now enhances the Select Subject and Remove Background features, a noticeable improvement when working with hair, complex edges and fine details.

LIGHTROOM

Quick Actions. Scene Enhance, Retouch, Popåœ.

All versions of Lightroom now include a Remove Distractions feature:

  • Window reflection removal. The release of Reflection Removal in Adobe Camera Raw earlier this year is now available in Lightroom and Lightroom Classic supporting non-Raw formats. The new feature uses AI to detect and erase unwanted reflections from glass. You can also choose to keep some of the character by adjusting the strength slider.
  • +New one-click people detection and removal_. Generative Remove can now detect people who are not the focus of your photo for removal in a single click. It's a simple and fast way to clean up your shot without having to make meticulous selections.

Lightroom mobile and Web versions now provide a new Scene Enhance feature for landscape photos. It can detect sky, water, ground and other outdoor elements to apply edits isolated to that element.

Selections. Subject Focus, Eyes Focus, and Eyes Open Detection.

Adobe also offered a sneak peak at a new feature to fast-track photo selection in Lightroom. "We're building filters like subject focus, eyes focus, and eyes open detection to support your creative decision-making process and speed up your review time," the company said. "You'll also have the ability to use AI-assisted options to clean up unwanted images, or group similar images together, so you can stay organized and get to editing faster."
