Joyce met with a Dr. Suh this morning who will be performing the sponge replacement at 2:30 this afternoon. I've been unable to find a Dr. Suh listed at this Kaiser facility.
So I called the nurse's station. Twice. Always an ordeal. Well, they're busy.
When I finally did get her nurse, she wasn't able to shed any light on the issue. She thought Dr. Tong was doing the procedure.
Anyway, Joyce said Dr. Suh took a look at the wound and said she saw evidence it was healing. She thought she might be able to do the sponge replacement bedside but then thought better of it.
Joyce said she had a lot of blood tests this morning. But she isn't sure what they were for.
She did meet the hospitalist replacing Dr. Cook but didn't remember the name. Her nurse didn't know either.
And she continues to be stymied trying to get on the Internet with a WiFi server. The guest network is apparently not available so she's only had a cellular connection, which hasn't been great for data.
