I did hear from Kaiser just before 11 this morning. A fellow named Mike called to tell me he was taking care of Joyce. He's one of the nurses, Joyce told me later.
He had an update for me.
Nobody ordered the portable Wound VAX Joyce will use away from the hospital until this morning.
They usually deliver same day, he said, but he didn't know when that happen in this case. He promised to call with future developments. That was almost three hours ago now.
What's a plan without a little hitch in it?
