I woke up this morning with a question. "Didn't Joyce have a sleep apnea appointment on June 1?"
I got up and checked the calendar on my phone.
Yes, she did. And in the first-of-the-month crush around here, I forgot all about it.
I checked her Kaiser messages for a reminder but didn't see anything. Later when I asked her about it, she told me what happened.
"I canceled it," she said.
She doesn't want to do the test that accommodates her Raynaud's, she explained.
One of the problems with sleep apnea is you may not know you have it. But I know she has it.
We'll resume the discussion on Monday when we can do something about it.
