Seems like this is the year of Dropping the Ball. Joyce's Tuesday hospital date was cancelled because no operating room was available and nothing has been rescheduled.
I have no idea what happened to her memory clinic order either. After she missed the intro session because it was a Zoom meeting she had no idea how to access, her follow up calls to the clinic were not answered).
As for the wound, Joyce still feels pain in the area of suspicion. The point of going to the hospital was so Dr. Tong could dig deeper in that area to see if it was just an exposed nerve or something impinging on a nerve (a tumor).
So you can't really see anything but I'm monitoring her pain level.
Meanwhile Francis the LVN is covering for our usual home nurse Kristine the LVN, who is vacationing in Spain. She told us all the home nurses take their vacations outside the country.
Anybody know what a "vacation" is?
