As we reported in March, Michael Reichmann, founder of the Luminous Landscape (affectionately known as LuLa), has established The Luminous Endowment for Photographers, a not-for-profit entity to provide scholarships, grants and awards to photographers world-wide. Today it has gone live.

Applications for several grants are now open for submission via the Grants page on the Endowment Web site.

The current roster of grants include the Luminous Landscape Grant, Lenswork Publication Skills Grant, The Mylio Grant for Memories and Stories and the M. Reichmann Grant. Awards vary between $1,000 to $5,000 for each grant.

PAY IT FORWARD

Reichmann explained the concept, "While we may not be able to repay those who've helped us to achieve personal and professional success, we can find a way to share our good fortune with those who need help both now and in the future."
