In this recurring column, we highlight a few items we've run across that don't merit a full story of their own but are interesting enough to bring to your attention. This time we look at Museo Alfa once again, Jackie Kramer, Aubrey Powell, Nikon Z flash and Kando Everywhere.

  • Ming Thein continues his presentation of Museo Alfa images with a third installment.
  • In Macro Adventure: Homebound With a Flower or Two, floral photographer Jackie Kramer discusses her "pandemic possibility," escaping reality without leaving home.
  • Aubrey Powell's best photograph was Pink Floyd's Burning Man. Joobin Bekhrad interviewed him about the shot for this story.
  • Thom Hogan explores Nikon Flash for Z Cameras. The Z cameras, he points out, are all Creative Lighting System savvy but there are "some wrinkles are present that you need to know about."
  • Kando Everywhere is this year's online version of Sony's annual Kando Trip where industry luminaries gather at photogenic locations to share their thoughts and technology. On Aug. 15 and 16 it will offer workshops, keynotes and panel discussions, plus an opportunity for a portfolio review. Registration is open to everyone this year and it's free.

More to come! Meanwhile, here's a look back. And please support our efforts...
