Harvey Posts ExifTool 12.15 Production Release

Phil Harvey has posted ExifTool v12.15, the first production release since v12.0 on June 11, 2020. The small download is available three formats, including a Windows executable and Macintosh OS X package.
Changes since the last non-production release include:
- Added a couple of new Sony LensType values
- Added a new Nikon FlashMode value
- Decode NikonSettings
- Decode thermal information from DJI RJPEG images
- Fixed extra newline in -echo3 and -echo4 outputs added in version 12.10
- Fixed out-of-memory problem when writing some very large PNG files under Windows
In addition to the production releases, Harvey posts regular updates to ExifTool to handle new cameras and newly-decoded tags. His site includes an encyclopedia of Exif Tag Names in addition to extensive documentation and links to other resources.
We rely on the Perl library to write copyright information into the Exif header of our JPEGs and into DNG files. We also use it to read Exif header information.
