Enhancing the enjoyment of taking pictures with news that matters, features that entertain and images that delight. Published frequently.

We've just archived Volume 13, Number 9 of Photo Corners on the Archive page with 18 Features, 15 commented News stories, 25 Editor's Notes (which included 175 items of interest), one review and one site note for a total of 60 stories.
Of those 60 stories, 28 stories included 111 images, eight stories had gear specification tables and two were obituaries.
But if you were to ask us, on our second month of double vision after a concussion, it would be 18 Features, 30 commented News stories, 50 Editor's Notes), two reviews and two site notes for a total of 120 stories. At least that's the way it feels when you make five typos for every three letters you type.
Which is why we're grateful to those of you who take a moment to point out our mistakes. We're not in this for vanity. We want to get it right and when you help by pointing out an error, we're nothing but grateful.
WE SEEM to have corralled the bot abuse we suffered in August with our site usage numbers coming back into a credible range during September. Hits, for example, matched July's activity while our pages delivered exceeded that slightly at 1,286,706.
The benefit of blocking the bots is that we were never in danger last month of having the site shut down by exceeding our bandwidth. We did just fine there.
OUR TOP TEN STORIES included five Around The Horn columns interspersed with the Nikkor Z 50mm f1.4 announcement in second place, the Canon Selphy printer story in fourth, the Canon 28-70mm in sixth. our Labor Day story in seventh and our PSA on vaccinations in ninth.
All of those were in the first two weeks of the month, however, so we expect more recent stories to catch up in the first days of this month.
Meanwhile we'll try not to fall too far behind as we continue to rehab from our concussion.
