In this recurring column, we highlight a few items we've run across that don't merit a full story of their own but are interesting enough to bring to your attention. This time we look at Coachella, Harold Davis, Arches National Park and a parade.
- In Scenes From Coachella, Reuters showcases 50 images from the music and arts festival in Indio, Calif.
- Harold Davis shares his Recent Work (In My Garden). "My garden is in full bloom, and the new enchanted garden is exciting," he writes. That's not a shot of Davis in the garden taking a smartphone shot, though. It's the remote tether on his Leica M11P.
- In Arches National Park Full Tutorial, Julieanne Kost continues posting her Snap Happy episodes demonstrating how to create images with more impact using Lightroom:
- Gustavo Hernandez shot the pictures and wrote the story as Hundreds March in San Francisco in the Cesar Chavez and Dolores Hureta Day parade. "¡Sí Se Puede!" -- "Yes, We Can!" -- the chant during Cesar Chavez's 25-day hunger strike in 1968, became the rallying cry of the United Farm Workers, co-founded by Chavez and Dolores Huerta in 1962," he writes. "Today, it rings louder than ever."
