Founded and edited Photo Corners, the daily Web publication covering photography. Featured educational series on past photographers of note; Friday slide shows of my own images; wrote articles on several photo editing projects; numerous reviews of photo equipment, tools and techniques.

Imaging Resource, Editor (11.1999 — 12.2012)

Reviewed cameras, printers, software and accessories. Took product shots of dozens of cameras and accessories. Took gallery shots for review cameras. Covered major photo shows with photo essays, including 10-minute tours of show floors and all of the booth displays.

The Underwriters' Wire, Editor (06.1997 — 09.1999)

Editor of the daily national insurance Web site. Wrote QuarkXPress to HTML and AP Style utilities. Designed hand-coded site.

Bachelor of Arts, University of California at Berkeley (1974)

The Field Major in the Social Sciences required a 110-page thesis for graduation. The thesis, West of Tomorrow, compared accounts of the Boston Massacre and the Isla Vista riots of 1970.

Worked as a sophomore at the University of California at Santa Barbara for the Daily Nexus first as a Staff Reporter and then as City Editor.

After graduation, completed half of the requirements for a Masters degree in political science at the University of Hawaii at Manoa (1975).
