Eggs For Easter Share This on LinkedIn   Tweet This   Forward This

20 April 2025

Last year we colorized a black-and-white image for Easter, imagining we might do that every year from then on just as once upon a time we colored eggs. Who knew we'd be in such a colorless world only a year later?

In 'Shame!' Protesters Nationwide Rally Again to Condemn Trump Policies (gift link), the New York Times presents photos from around the country of thousands of demonstrators at hundreds of events on Holy Saturday speaking out against the current administration's handling of immigration, civil liberties, job cuts and "many other issues."

Every other issue, we might have put it.

And to top it all off, the price of eggs hit a new record-high of $6.23 a dozen on April 10, just in time for Easter when demand for eggs is traditionally high.

We thought you might have forgotten what an egg looks like. So we posed one.

Even though Easter says color like no other holiday, we decided to render our Easter egg in a more sober monochrome.

Somehow it more befits the occasion.
